Hello everyone!

At exactly 7:16PM Pacific Time on Monday, December 12th 2022, I will be sworn-in as Councilmember Kalimah Priforce of the City of Emeryville, CA.

Please join me in making history as the first Haitian-American and Afro-Latine/o/x elected in Emeryville, the San Francisco Bay Area, and possibly the State of California.

Just as exciting, my godmother, Cathie Wright-Lewis, who will conduct the ceremony followed by 3 to 5 minute remarks by me.

The official schedule of the meeting is as follows:

6:30 PM – City Council Special Meeting I

7:14 PM – MESA Special Meeting

7:15 PM – Successor Agency Special Meeting

7:16 PM – City Council Special Meeting II

The mayorship of Emeryville will also be decided after the ceremony in addition to committee appointments and enrollments.
